My favorite minimalists

I am just starting out on my minimalism journey. If you’re a beginner like me (or if you’re just looking for some more inspiration) below are my current favorite minimalists. While some don’t identify as minimalists exactly, they all live simply and believe in a more intentional way of life.
Favorite podcast: Slow Your Home
DESCRIPTION: Brooke is a mom (or mum) from Australia with the most beautiful and calming voice I have ever heard. Her podcast is all about slow living and minimalist lifestyles. Each week she interviews someone living simply in a variety of ways. I started listening to her podcasts at the beginning of November and I have already finished 30+ episodes. She is lovely.

Favorite YouTube channel: LightbyCoco
DESCRIPTION: Coco (yes that is her real, beautiful name) is a young adult living simply in California. Her channel explores capsule wardrobes and other minimal spaces/ideas. Her videos provide a great representation of where I would like to be in my minimalism journey one day. She also understands minimalism in a different way because she has traveled a lot and was raised abroad- check her out.
Favorite food(kind of) blog: Simple Green Smoothies
DESCRIPTION: I never EVER thought I would like green smoothies. All of the ones I made with my Nutribullet were super gross and often brown. These ladies will teach you how to make a simple, delicious, green smoothie that you will love. The health benefits and amazingness of these are well documented on their webpage- I immediately feel energized and happy after having one!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

  1. Congrats on your life change, and thanks for sharing it with us. Can’t wait to listen to the podcasts. But first, I’m off to finally try to make a green smoothie that’s not gross and brown…so excited. 🙂
